frushi failure?

I recently came across an intriguing fruit sushi recipe on cakebatterandbowl.com that I just had to try. While it tasted delicious (and that can be confirmed by my roomies/biggest fans) the construction and presentation could use some work. I will definitely try this again and am hoping that simply chilling the dough and being a little less heavy handed with the fillings will do the trick....maybe it's my wisconsin upbringing, but I tend to go slightly overboard when filling wraps of any variety.

as this is my first post, i can't make any firm promises of what's to come, but my plan is to let you in on my creations through stories of my trials and errors and photos. here's a shot of the slightly oversized roll:
